Materials and methods Mandibular casts of 100 patients from the Orthodontics department, Saveetha dental college are to be taken and the mean collective mesiodistal width of the mandibular central incisors are calculated and compared with the littles irregular index value for that cast. Results No correlation was found between the collective mesiodistal width and crowding of lower anterior teeth. Conclusion The mesiodistal width of lower anterior teeth does not contribute to crowding. Top Keywords Mandibular anterior, Littles irregularity index, Crowding, Mesiodistal width, Correlation. Top |
