Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

  1. Manuscripts submitted to Journal of Management Research are evaluated on the basis of their content. The Editors have complete discretion to reject/accept an article. The evaluation of manuscripts is made on the basis of their scholarly and intellectual content without having regard to the nature of the authors or the institution including gender, race, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.

  2. There are no publication charges.

  3. Authors are required to give an undertaking that their work is original, unpublished and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. In addition, authors confirm that their paper is their own original work and that it has not been copied or plagiarized, in whole or in part, from any other works.If the authors have used the works of others the same should be appropriately cited or quoted. The responsibility of this lies with the authors.

  4. Papers are initially screened by the Editor-in Chief.

  5. The review process takes 2-4 weeks.

Duties / Responsibilities of Editors and Reviewers

  1. The Editor-in Chief and Editorial Team of the Journal of Management Research are responsible for accepting or rejecting a paper. The Editorial Team may confer/deliberate with other reviewers/editors in arriving at its decisions. The editors are expected to exercise caution and ensure that they have no conflict of interest with respect to the articles they accept/reject.

  2. The editors and reviewers are expected to follow strict confidentiality. They correspond only through the Editor-in-Chief and are required not to disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone.

  3. The reviewers should have no conflict of interest with the authors and the subject matter of the research.

  4. Any similarities or overlaps between the manuscript under review and any other published paper of which the reviewer may have personal knowledge, should be brought to be attention of the Editor-in chief.

  5. Editors and reviewers should not use the contents of the papers for anypersonal advantage.

Duties/Responsibilities of the Authors

  1. Authors should submit original research work. Papers should contain review of literature, research gaps, significance of the study, references and an objective discussion of results. Authors are required to ensure that the submitted work has not been published elsewhere. If the authors have used the work of others the same should be appropriately cited or quoted. Applicable copyright laws and conventions are required to be followed. Copyright materials should be reproduced only with the permission and due acknowledgement.

  2. Authors are not expected to submit manuscripts containing the same research in more than one journal. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently is not allowed and, if discovered, would result in rejection of the paper.

  3. In case of multiple authors, it is expected that all the authors should have significantly contributed to the research. The corresponding author should ensure that names of all co-authors are included in the paper. Also, the co-authors should have approved the final version of the paper.

  4. The authors should vet and authenticate press proof of the paper.

  5. The corresponding author should ensure that all co-authors have agreed to the submission of paper to the journal for publication.

  6. All sources of financial support should be mentioned.

  7. Responsibility of the above lies with the corresponding author
