Data was collected following group discussion and semi-structured interview methods among the villagers from different parts of the district. The study revealed the variations in cultural significance of insect diversity among the ethnic groups. Uses varied from food to commercial products. Total 182 species of insects were recorded belonging to 11 orders, 138 genera and 46 families.
