Abstract

A number of research works are available for identifying the flow regimes in gas-solid-liquid bubble column. Similarly, researchers defined the fluidization process and its different regimes quite clearly. The fluidizing columns and bubble columns are two different industrial processes and their applications are also quite different. But, both the processes have similarities also specifically when the process is batch bubble column and fluidization in stationary liquid. Present investigation has been carried out to identify the flow regimes during stationary liquid fluidization.
