Abstract In the presence of InCl3 as a catalyst one-pot (4π+2π) cycloaddition reaction of aromatic aldehydes, arylamines and DHF in ethanol proceeded smoothly to give tetrahydroquinoline derivatives (4a-4j) in excellent yields.
