One group pre-test post-test design was selected for the study. The participants were 30 staff nurses from Bangalore Hospital, Bangalore. Convenience sampling method was used to select the sample for study. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from the subjects. The obtained data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics and interpreted in terms of objectives and hypothesis of the study. The level of significance was set at 0.05 levels. In experimental group, pre-test mean was 7.26 (SD=2.52) and post-test mean was 16.87 (SD=3.70), with the t value of 9.99. The obtained t-value is greater than the table value at 0.05 level of significance. Therefore, VAT was effective in improving knowledge on ozone therapy of staff nurses. CONCLUSION: In the pretest 80% of the subjects had low level of knowledge, 17% of the subjects had very low level of knowledge and 3% of of the subjects had average level of knowledge where as in the post test 63% of the subjects had good level of knowledge, 20% of the subjects had average level of knowledge and 17% of the subjects had excellent level of knowledge.
