The investigator assessed the mothers knowledge using structured questionnaire regarding respiratory tract infection. After conducting the pretest information booklet was introduced to the mother. Post test was conducted on the fifth day using the same research tool. It is found that the calculated t value is greater than table value. There is a significant difference in between pretest and posttest scores of knowledge among mothers of under five children. There is association between pretest knowledge among mothers with selected demographic variable (age and education of mother).
