Abstract

Potato cv. Kufri Anand released in 1999 was evaluated in North-western and western-central plains for its adaptation. It outyielded the control Kufri Chandramukhi and Kufri Badshah by an average margin of 29 and 9 percent at 75 and 90 days of crop duration respectively. Cv. Kufri Anand a high yielding, late blight resistant and tolerant to frost is becoming an apt choice of farmers around North-western and western-central plains of India.
